1300 and 1800 Numbers
Neural can provide your business with a 1300 or 1800 number at extremely competitive rates. 1300 numbers allow your clients to call you from anywhere in the country at the cost of a local call. 1800 Numbers alow them to call you for free.
Use one on your Virtual PBX
If you have a Neural Advanced Virtual PBX, you can attach a 1300 number or 1800 number to your service, providing your clients with a cheaper way to contact you nationally. You can even attach multiple 1300 or 1800 numbers to your PBX, allowing maximum flexibility for call handling. Both SmartNumber and stock numbers are available for this service. Any existing standard numbers on the service will continue to function as normal.
Attach one to your traditional landline
If you don't have a virtual PBX, and have an existing legacy PBX system, or even just a regular landline or mobile number, Neural can provide you with a 1300 or 1800 number that redirects to your existing system, or phone. The redirection process is transparent to callers.
Port your existing number to us
If you have an existing 1300 or 1800 number with Telstra or Optus, Neural can port this number to our network, reducing your monthly and per-call costs. Please complete the 1300 and 1800 LNP form on the forms page. For more information about porting, please see the porting page.
Stock Numbers and SmartNumbers
Stock numbers are randomly selected from our pool of unallocated numbers. When you choose a stock number, you don't have the opportunity of choosing the number, however the upfront cost is minimal. When to choose a SmartNumber, you can choose the number you are allocated. Often SmartNumbers are selected that spell out words, for example 1800MYCOMPANY. SmartNumbers have the advantage of being memorable, however there is an auction process that must be completed to obtain the number.

The redirection surcharge is only applicable when calls from the 1300 or 1800 number are being sent to a traditional landline, legacy PBX, or to a mobile phone. The surcharge is not applicable to calls being sent to a Virtual PBX, or to a VoIP termination service. The inbound call rate is applicable to all inbound calls, regardless of call destination.
